DEFTONES: 'Hexagram' Video Shoot Details Unveiled

August 5, 2003

DEFTONES will be shooting the video for "Hexagram", the second single from their self-titled album, this Friday (August 8) at The Skatelab Warehouse, located at 4226 Valley Fair Street in Simi Valley, California. Fans are being invited to show up between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. for the shoot, which will take place later in the evening under the watchful eye of director Darren Doane (POISON THE WELL, THURSDAY). "We need as many fans as possible to represent the DEFTONES (500-1000)," reads a post on the band's web site. "There will be no stage. Just the band and their fans. Bring ear plugs if you think you might be sensitive to the loudest sound system ever. Important: Do not wear name brand shirts. NO HURLEY, BILLABONG, VOLCOM, VANS, PUMA, ADIDAS, ETC. We are all sick of blurred out images in videos."

DEFTONES are currently on the road with METALLICA's Summer Sanitarium tour. The next stop is this Thursday in Seattle, Washington. However the band will squeeze in two headlining shows before that — this Tuesday night (August 5h) in Salt Lake City, and on Wednesday (August 6) in Boise, Idaho.
